One or Many – Which One Generates 374% More Sellers?

If you want more sellers from your marketing, knowing this one simple fact can impact your results as much as 374%.  That’s huge when it comes to marketing for new listings.

What am I talking about?  The number of offers your make.  Let me explain.

In direct response marketing there’s a simple rule:  Only One Offer at a Time.  If you try to get prospects responding to more than one offer you’ll lose results.

Here’s a simple way to visualize this…

Let’s say Jackson, a real estate agent, has a great video about his services we wants prospects to see.  He also has a website that shares what homes are worth.  He has also been written up in local journals.  And he has a special report on selling homes he uses to generate seller leads.

So when Jackson sends a prospect an email, he includes all those links in his signature.  It may look like this:

Get the picture?  What happens to the prospect?  Which links does the prospect respond to?

Typically, NONE.  There are too many to choose from.

However, if Jackson were to change his offer to just the most important one, he’ll get a higher response rate:

Something dramatic happens when you limit the offer to only one.  You get MORE clicks to that one link than you get to all of the previous links combined!

Why?  Because confused prospects never respond.

When you have too many offers the prospect doesn’t know which one to select, so by default he usually selects none of them.  But if you give only ONE offer it eliminates the decision making process.  He responds to that one.

So how does this relate to getting sellers through postcard marketing?

When you want sellers responding to a lead capture device of some sort, don’t confuse the offer.  Use only a single offer.

This offer will produce far fewer results than a single offer.

When planning to sell your home it’s important to know the most valuable fix-ups you can do to dramatically increase the value of your home.  I’ve compiled a list of the top 10 fix-ups the produce the highest return in sales price.  Do these 10 fix-ups and your home will sell for a lot more money.  Visit the link below to download the report now.”

Do you see how much cleaner and less “cluttered” this offer is?

Cleaner, less cluttered, single offer — those are ingredients that get the best responses.  And that means more sellers!
